...I just applied to another job at Target.  And let me tell you, it has been a LONG and VERY INVOLVED process--and I don't even know yet if I get to interview!  Jockeying for promotions has always been competitive here, and it's only been worse lately with the economic downturn.  But all I can do is give it my best, which I've damn well been doing

Thanks Laurie!! I've been practicing for a while now, so I feel fairly confident. But of course you don't want to get overconfident. : )
