Thanks for the article. I was trying to find it.
I am appalled that he doesn't think he did anything wrong. It seems to me like he was advocating rape as long as the victim is "a day at the beach"

News flash: Rape is about power! Dumbass.

It is the second time in two weeks that prosecutors have complained that Stephenson made a plea deal with a sex offender that is too lenient, then forced it on them.

He shouldn't be a judge.

Stephenson has spent the bulk of his judicial career hearing juvenile,
divorce and civil cases. In a 2003 poll, he was the lowest-rated criminal
judge on the circuit bench in Seminole County, scoring a "satisfactory"
rating.

Especially not a judge for criminal cases.

Fuck. Really, I've gotta move out of this state - there's a REASON hurricanes keep getting sent here - God/dess keeps trying to kill off the stupid folk but there's just too many and they're too inter-mingled w/the rest of us...damn.

The real question may be- Why hasn't Bush nominated this judge for the Supreme Court? I'm sure it's just an oversight.
