Been in the news up here in Canada, and I just want to know what your opinion is on this...

I think it should be a regulated industry like every other. This would hopefully bar the people that force prostitution on women and help the women that choose the profession.

I also feel this way. Along with the possibility of protecting women from being forced into prostitution, it may help minimize the spread of STDs/STIs though prostitution.

It has been shown that educated and accepted sex workers are less likely to contract and spread STDs/STIs. Monthly testing, free protection products...so on have helped the porn industry (not that it still doesnt have a way to go) reduce transmission of HIV and other nasties.
