I recently switched over to gmail. As some of you may know, google mail scans your e-mails, and on the side of each e-mail conversation that you view, it provides a list of links that are somehow related to whatever you wrote ( Read more... )

[winces] any drug that claims to work "like magic" automatically sends up red flags for me.

I kind of think that too, especially since there are so many grammatical/spelling errors on the website and all of the examples are so extreme. But then another part of me wonders why google would recognize it as a legitimate company if it was just a joke

But don't companies have to pay to be advertized like that? I always thought that the links that google provided post-emails were paid for. Hmm...

Yeah, Uterol was listed under "Sponsored Links." I know that some people will go pretty far for a joke, but the joke usually stops at their pocket-books. I guess that's why I'm inclined to believe that it's "real."

"vaginal odor" relief
I am hoping this is a joke...If it is not, it is disgusting.
This whole "company" is ridiculous

I'm fishing for signs that Selmedica is a joke, and I'm not finding them. Which, after going through their entire website, is entirely horrifying. Since they offer "income opportunity", they are most likely yet another "company" with a fancy pyramid-scheme going that operates on hype. In other words, it's real, but it's bullshit.

Check this out: http://www.midsouth.bbb.org/commonreport.html?compid=1200382

I took your idea hoping that I would find that it's not a real company, but sadly the BBB has them listed. (At least, it is the same name of the company, I don't know if that means that they are the same company.)

Advertisers do pay Google to advertise on their e-mail...I've had gmail for almost a year and have experimented with the "links;" most of them are serious spam sites. That's really besides the point though- I think it's even more frustrating that not only are we treated like ditzy space cadets when it comes to any female product, but there is never any information (widely) available on non-medical relief for cramps, etc. It's like, not only are we treated like we're stupid and desperate, but we're expected to pay money to be treated as such.
