I'm not going to get into the porn_debate side of this, but I think this is giving Mr. Flynt far more credit (and press) than he deserves.

The only 'censorship' they even allege is the fact that Flynt and his buddies said nasty things about them in his magazine.

It is interesting to see some of the strategy Flynt uses to maintain control of his empire. However, I kind of have to question the use of the images on all the pages. It's one thing to have a gallery for images referenced in articles. It's another to have them splashed over all the pages with the "hate speech" words superimposed.

I always find it interesting when anti-porn websites contain collections of great porn. Most of the images on this site are comics, but there are a few photos of an S&M type scene that some people would like.

However, as nasty as Flynt is, I have to say that he has done good work for the First Amendment. "Free speech" is meaningless unless it protects unpopular speech.

Don't you know that anti-porn sites have the best free porn on the net?

On the other hand, we hope that our analysis of the hate speech images here will be empowering.

Analysis? I don't see anything except poorly-executed graffiti and unfounded (or at least undefended) accusations...

As much of the site as I can actually read at work, I am inclined to agree.

I want the battles over free speech to be fought over things like Hustler, and as awful a human being as Larry Flynt is, I want him to make a clean sweep of it. If his free speech is protected, then anything I might care to say or read is protected as well. And that is the way I like it.
