Oh my god, I can hardly believe someone wrote about Alice. That makes me very happy. And this is a lovely, believable sketch of her. And of Cora, by contrast. Nicely done.

My one criticism - since you asked - is a small inconsistency. At one point you have Munro pulling Alice away from the man who fell off the roof; later, you say that Munro never protected her, that it was always Cora. But, like I said, it's a small thing.

An original choice, and an excellent fic that explores Alice’s rather passive characterisation as presented in the film without needing to change it. I particularly liked Alice’s understanding of Uncas as a younger sibling, which I’d not thought of before. Lots of visual sense of place, too, which fits the scene.
