I didn't get a chance to read this until now, but I wanted to know that I found this wonderful. First of all, I love that Sakura is Hokage. I especially love the insight she has at the beginning - the difference between ninja-born ninja and civilian-born ninja, and how much of a setback not having a mentor was until she realized she needed one. I also like the quiet pace you have set, a lot of it introspective, which echoes the tone of the prompt. Great job! :)

Thank-you! I'm so glad you liked it.

Sakura is a character with so much potential (she's very smart, has improved immensely, trained under the Hokage, etc) and even though I know it's not where the series is leading, it was so interesting to think about what she would be like as a leader, and how her background might make her perspective different.
