Stupid me! kimberlie0810 September 4 2006, 23:08:39 UTC
I saw "Karen Walker" and thought "Will & Grace". Why am I so dumb?!!!!

Good schedule. Looks like you'll be productive--learning and working and building up to being a force to be reckoned with in the industry. You go girl! (I hate when people say that. Go where?). Anyhoooo I'm proud of you and wish you well.

Please remind me about June's book. Chile I need all the help I can get. I've got a JOB now and even though I outdressed everyone, including management, for my assessment and interview, I want to look nice now that I have somewhere to GO.

You go to FIT? Thats one of the schools I would love to go to when I'm older. What are you studying and what do you want to be? I'm just really curious so if you can tell me anything about the school, classes (how many students?), teachers, etc. that would be great!

I'm probably not the best person to ask since I'm not in any degree programs at FIT. I got a BBA in Marketing a few years ago at Hofstra University and I'm in a certificate program for Image Consulting at FIT. The program I'm in is for people who love putting looks together for others (think What Not to Wear) and the courses I take aren't on a regular college semester basis.

But FIT is a great school. It depends on what you're looking to do. I love fashion and I love creating new looks and outfits, but I suck at creating things with fabrics and thread...lol. Many of my teachers are people who actually work in the industry, so that's a plus. I've never had more than maybe 10-15 students in any of my classes, but then again, I'm in a certificate program. You should go the FIT site and request to have a course booklet sent to you so you can see all the different course they offer.

I hope I helped you somewhat ;)
