Thanks! Me too :) we are starting off slowly with pets until our living situation becomes more permanent. I don't want to take on any new pets that live a long life and be forced to re home them so we are doing the responsible thing, just taking it very slowly :)
Also dwarf hamsters are usually pretty good at living together once mature. At least from my experience. I use to have a cage of males and females and with about 10 dwarves in each and they would "argue" but never full on fight. Obviously if they do start to fight I will separate them :) so far they seem like good friends and they look to be adult size already although I'm not 100% sure on their age.
