Ronon didn't really plan on including anything from a Satedan wedding ceremony into his wedding with Jennifer. His homeworld had some survivors - none on the island but few enough scattered about Pegasus. Sateda was his past - Atlantis was his home now - with the island providing an unwanted detour in the lives of all it's residents

Rodney was in a pretty good mood, all things considered. The island was finally back to normal, and okay, maybe he didn't like the hot weather but at least the place wasn't reminding him of Antarctica anymore. And sure, Carter had turned up and had instantly begun usurping his ego - what little was left of it - and if she actually ended up finding a way off the island he might have to kill himself out of shame, but other than that, it was a good thing she was here. And Jill seemed to like her, which was...okay, weird, but good.

And everyone else seemed pretty cheerful, too. Not that he could tell with people like, say, Ronon for instance. 'Hey' could be a declaration of war as well as love. Or maybe just a greeting. He wasn't sure in this instance.

"Ah, Ronon," he said in response. "Going to the Compound?"

Stupid question.

"Sure," Ronon said. Not that he needed to head to the compound but it seemed that was where Rodney was headed. "I wanted to talk to you about something."

All right, now Rodney was worried. Well, more worried than usual. He slowed down a little to glance over at Ronon, not that he'd been going very fast in the first place.

"...About what? What about?"

Ronon raised an eyebrow at Rodney. "Relax," he said. Ronon hadn't expected him to be that jumpy. So it was best to get the news out of the way before Rodney assumed the worse. "Jennifer and I are getting married."
