Today I:

Designed four alternative layouts for business cards
Designed my letterheads
Despite their best efforts to repeatedly refuse my card for no reason, purchased a virtual office contract
Had a really useful IM conversation with a friend in Ireland who's a web developer
Navigated the labyrinth of DVLA bureaucracy to get my licence application ( Read more... )

Drop us those letterheads and business card layouts in a jpg or something, to my gmail address, ta :).

Oh btw remember that as you're freelancing now everything can be written off as a business expense when it comes to tax and VAT can be claimed back. Just something I know that Sarah forgets sometimes, so save those reciepts.

Also http://www.cclonline.com/product-categories.asp?category_id=156 might be slightly cheaper.

willdo tomorrow. cheers had a quick look and found a good router for 35. wicked, you've just earnt me some sunshine ;o) cheers for vat advice - 'sort tax stuff' is looming large on my to-do.

do but its a 486... :o( have a wireless card, just had no hub. gonna buy a router as found one affordable now.

Off topic, but can't find your e-mail. When you upload to your flickR account, do you resize images first, or does it do that for you?

does it all. flikr is great - heartily recommend. great sharing tools and community and no annoying signup process for your mates to look at your pics. original size dimensions etc retained, but displayed initially in squares. email is terrypearce at fastmail dot fm.

hey. sorry. i can think of about fifty, actually - you should see my to do list. unfortunately, my day today got three and a half hours stolen from it by my nan (which is fine - she's done loads for me and i'd do anything for her), so i'm kinda behind, and gotta now get some grub and go out for the evening... asap, i promise. maybe last thing tonight.
