Lets see, I don't really know where to start in all seriousness. As I'm starting to thing about leaving Las Vegas I have things pulling me in all directions, one is a mate of mine who lives in darkest Iwoa who would really like me to come up and see his baby daughter, but that way is kinda outta the way like

Yeah I realise this, the balance that I am weighing is the fun verses the emotional side of things, which given my general emotional detachment from things is tough

I think its important that she asked you and if you can, make her time really special. Is there a concrete deadline you need to leave by? can you wait a few days??? Will a few days make a difference for her?

There is a concrete deadline, well a paid for flight but it doesn't depart for about a month anyway so not until after the operation. I mean the day before she found out about her leg she was telling me I'd better be at her funeral wich the docs reckon is a year away or so which isn't really feasable, but I do have time to spend with her before the op at least.
