I have the box checked to received e-mail updates for birthdays on my flist, but it says "Currently disabled"? What I am doing wrong? I can't find anything in the LJ FAQs.

I took my birthday e-mail inquiry to the support team (cause I am nosy and demanding!) and they responsed back. I would post it if I knew useful things like links or cut tags, but I can forward the e-mail to you if you like!

It hasn't worked in the year that I've been on LJ. *shrug* It's just there to annoy folks, I think.

FYI - The support team said they are not planning on reinstating the birthday e-mail notification, but it did give me a link to see friends birthdays listed by date and month, that I did not know existed. The link is in the post!
