BWAAAAAHHHH HAAA HAAA HAAA!!!! Wash it all away!!!! Heat and sun and summer be gone!!! I like rain and at the moment it is storming pretty heavily. Thunder and lightning too which I like, but Angeldust does not like it so I am willing to compromise. I do like it when my coworkers complain about it though,...a certain sense of satisfaction ( Read more... )

You and carthes must have been cackling together. After a couple brutal weeks in the fields she was positively capering at a rainy day.

Don't get me started on Dr's or the medical establishment in general. The wife got a call from the nurse at the camp where Jana is spending the week to discuss the severe poison ivy Jana has on her leg. Said nurse indicated that she intended to cover the patch with a bandage. Apparently that is the last thing you want to do with poison ivy, and Gretch said as much. Sure enough, when Gretch picks up Jana this evening she has a pretty serious infection. I'll spare you my rant about the insurance companies...saving that for a later tirade!

So what are you selling at your sale if not martial arts gear?

Ah. You would figure that the camp nurse would know this sort of thing, but I guess not.
There was a lot of clothes stuff there, DVDs, and ramdom crap. It was your typical garage sale. As it turns out, we did have some martial arts stuff. There were some display swords and some padded nunchaku, but that was about it.

Oh I agree. Now granted, I have no air conditioning in my apartment, so perhaps I am a bit bias, but really, I just enjoy rainy days. :)

That is not such a bad idea. It suits you too. I certainly don't see you as a "fire" or "earth" type of person. :)
