Wait, they cut out the Ron/Hermione wedding dance? I had no idea! (Guess I'm too entrenched in the Harry/Hermione side of fandom. ^^). Aw, that's sucky. I remember how pissed off I was when they cut my favorite H/Hr moments from OotP. And while I'm not overly fond of R/Hr in the books (NOT TRYING TO HARSH ON YOUR SQUEE, I SWEAR), I think they're terribly adorable and wonderful in the films. I was looking forward to their dancing scene! I'm glad you're feeling hope again, though. Deathly Hallows is a fantastic book for both sides of the OT3 ships, and the films should do them justice (especially R/Hr, since you guys have been waiting "seven years" for them to finally get their act together on screen -- we H/Hr shippers can just flail over our moments knowing it's not really culminating in anything ...if that makes ANY sense at all, which it probably doesn't because my brain is mush).

These two films are going to be epic. &hearts

they totally did cut it!! at least, according the the early reviews and stuff, they did... D: and it's ridiculous how much they cut out of OOTP in general (final battle much? oh my st. mungos!!), and if anything should have been two movies! :P which parts were your favourite?

LOLOL I'm the opposite - I LOVE ron/hermy in the books, and the movies are just 'okay'. It seems pretty vital to TPTB that there should be some element of "one hero and his one girl", especially so in these last two, which annoys me more than a little. Ron's always been pushed aside in everything, but in the books he's Hermione's EQUAL. he may not be SMART, but his presence is so damn important to Harry. :| But that being said, I do appreciate the hints they drop for R/Hr, and the lovely friendship between H/H, and trio in general (HEARTS FOREVER).

I would've LOVED for Order of the Phoenix to be two films, but I suppose if they had to choose one to flesh out like this I'm glad it's Deathly Hallows. So many loose ties to, er, tie up

idk why the line just stuck out to me so much. I remember reading that for the first time and thinking, "THIS is the best description of the fear of losing a friend that she's ever written", and IMO she hadn't written one as accurately again since.

gah, I'm glad DH is the one that's being split too, but I wouldn't have minded NINE movies with two OOTPs as well. :P

OHHHHHHHH I'M GONNA LOSE MY SHIT DURING THE MALFOY MANOR SCENE. I HOPE THEY ALL FREAK OUT LIKE THEY DID IN THE BOOKS, AND HARRY IS DESPERATE AND RON IS RAAAAAAGIIING OMG.

EXCEPT THERE'S ALREADY A FUNNY BIT WITH DOBBY AND LUNA IN THOSE TV SPOTS *FACEPALM* I LOVE MY COMEDY, BUT I HOPE -JUST FOR THAT SCENE- THEY HANDLE THE DRAMA AND DANGER WELL.

I MEAN, THEY HAVE TO RIGHT? HERMIONE'S BEING FRICKIN' TORTURED! :O

haha, more like my PAST. I used to draw a lot of Ron/Hermione back when, but they're very old work (so they're quite bad, LOL) so I won't post them.

hmm. although the movie is def. bringing all my love for them back, so maybe it's time I doodled them again. idk idk. xD

MEEEE TOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! ARGGH, THAT WAS THE ONE TIME I HATED THE FACT THAT THE BOOKS WERE FROM HARRY'S PERSPECTIVE.

ACTUALLY I'M PRETTY TORN ON THE WHOLE THING BECAUSE ONE HAND I *ADORE* THAT RON AND HERMIONE HAD A ~SECRET~ ADVENTURE, THAT ONLY THEY SHARED, AND KNOW ABOUT. AND NOT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED IN THERE MAKES IT THAT MUCH HOTTER AND MORE INTRIGUING TO ME, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING WHATEVER RON DID DOWN THERE WARRANTED HEARTS IN HERMIONE'S EYES, PRAISE HIM IN FRONT OF HARRY AND THEN SNOG HIM SENSELESS.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I WOULD FLIP OUT TO SEE EVERYTHING. AND MORE R/HR IN GENERAL IS LOVE. SHDJKLFHASFJHASDF SO CONFLICTIIIING AND SO FAR AWAAAAAAAY.

mmmmm yes, I pretty much grew up with harry too, I can't believe it's almost over adsjfhjklasdhfasdf. but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want both movies right now. :P I mean, yeah after that there's gonna be...*gulp* nothing. but right now I make grabby hands. x)
