I really need to preset a date for my B12 injections because I keep forgetting when it's time to go again. Like now, I think it's been 6 weeks. Instead of 4. The thing is I don't realize it until suddenly I'm having trouble breathing and it feels like I'm moving through molasses. Ugh ( Read more... )

At most colleges you can start midyear -- the exception being some graduate programs.

And I am great at semicolons! Let me know if I can help!

Ok, good to know. I suddenly realized he'd missed the deadline for applying for college that spring so him already being in college a year later was a bit dubious. lol But yeah, might work that way ( ... )

Well, you're right, I don't know the fandom...maybe you could do a search and just send me the sentences with semicolons? :) :)

Well, actually that was meant as a plus in your colomn since I don't really want someone from fandom because 1) they'd probably always see the main characters as Jensen and Jared even though the names have been changed and 2) I think we expect different things from fanfic than we do original writing and knowing this used to be fanfic might have an influence on the person reading. Just my opinion though, I don't know if others feel that way.

Haha, that would be pretty hard seeing as right this minute there are... uhm... *counts* Oh, actually there are 22. Wow. For me that's A LOT! But considering there are 535 pages it's rather laughable, I'm guessing. Plus I'm sure at least 50% of them are in the wrong place. lol

Yes you can. That would be the spring session. A school can deffer your enrollment to the next semester.

Most colleges and universities havefall and winter semester sessions where you can start. Many even have ones that go in the spring/summer.
Very jealous of your vacation!
Congrats on the final draft!! That was a heck of an undertaking.

Good to know.

God yes, can't wait to get off work. For nine weeks! I'm going to do as little as possible. *g*

Thank you! And yes, it's been one hell of a project. Took 6 months to write but almost a year to re-write and edit. *wipes sweat off brow*

It depends on the school. The program I'm in (as well the one I want to go to) doesn't do midyear entries. Which of course makes me a basket case when it comes to auditions and...

You can start college anytime---it just might screw up your graduation date (since some classes that you might need for your major might not be taught at a convenient time--for example you have to have English 101 (or test out of it) before you're allowed to take English 102. Because most students start in the Fall, there might not be an English 101 class offered in January, or there will be far fewer of them and you might not get a seat. That would throw the entering student a whole year behind on completeing his English requirement. So, you can enter at any time you like, but it might cause timing issues later.

Yeah, that sounds pretty similar to what we have. Even if it can also happen that the teacher that's supposed to be teaching say English 101 takes a leave so you're fucked until she decides to come back, a year or so later. Not that that's happened to me... *kicks stupid teachers*
