Just a little something I wanted to share

As you might know I'm rewriting Doors in hopes of getting it published. In the process of doing so I meant to edit it, shorten that is. Instead I ended up adding almost 30.000 words. *headdesk ( Read more... )

It is bittersweet.

My favorite bit of dialogue: “I never had one. But it would have been perfect.”

Thank you.

Yeah, that last sentence kinda punches it in, right? That's how it feels to me anyway.

Right there with you.

I don't know if it's because it's been a while since I was working on that part but I was reading over when they're saying goodbye at the end of the first part and I almost started crying. And then felt like an idiot for being so sentimental about something I wrote myself. lol

That's what I love about the story. The mood is so wistful and angsty that one can't help being moved. I love emotional porn!

If I get no takers I'm self-publishing, I swear. Becuse damn, I put too much work and heart and soul into this to let it gather dust on my harddrive. *is determined*

You are an awesome writer and never let anyone tell you otherwise!! I mean, the intense set of emotions you manage to evoke in a couple of hundred words is just dazzling. I'd love to see this one published, really, I'd buy it for sure!
