News from Volcano Island

Just to let you know hubby is home safe and sound. Just as well he came yesterday because today the winds have changed and the ash is affecting flights all over Europe. Hope it's not raining too much ash on you though... How far away do you live from it? Can you see the smoke and stuff?

Also: How dare your country be situated right above unstable tectonic rift? Really. Should should have planed that better. Tsk.

They were talking about the problems with the flights in northern Europe in radio today. And I was thinking about you and your husband then. Good to read he is home.
The picture looks unreal, but beautiful. I hope you won't have to much problems because of the vulcano.

That pic looks really amazing and pretty. But the consequences are probably anything but. I do hope there won't be much ash raining on you and that you and your family stay safe.

My mobile has been going crazy all day with all the announcements about canceled flights all over Europe. Glad your hubby got home yesterday.

That's a stunning picture. It's odd how beautiful in an abstract way some disasters/natural events can be when viewed from a distance.
