I know how that feels, I usually get like that before I have to work a 14 hour shift!!! its annoying and frustrating, and you lie there trying to quiet your damn brain that seems to take issue with you telling it t stfu by making you think about crazy ass stuff!!!

But in saying that try putting some lavader oil in your bath at night before bed, place some on your pulse points, your wrists, your temples and (weirdly) just behind your ears. If you can also burn some in your room, it may not be the miracle cure, but it may help your body relax enough to slip into sleep. I hope you gte some rest soon hon xx take care xx

I completely understand and sympathize. I have the same problems sleeping at night. this may sound silly, but it works for me so bear with me hear. alot of it probably has to do with where you are living. I may sound like a load of crap, but Feng shui actually does work. May want to check out the lay of your bedroom. What I've done lately, is to put a blue hued energy saver lights in my bedside lamp. It has a very low light (make sure wattage is as low as possible) but the blue is very soothing and works for therapy also. I've been sleeping through the night ever since for teh most part. Can't hurt but to try. Light buld costs about $2.00 at walmart, so it may be worth a shot.

I totally feel your pain... I think I haven't slept a whole night since 4 years give or take..
Mostly I wake every other hour, sometimes I eat something half asleep, sometimes I try to sleep on the couch and sometimes I just don't sleep at all. And IF I sleep, I have nightmares SPN-worthy (not so much with the demons, but angsty as hell).
I hope it'll pass soon *hugs*

Somedays I feel the same. I hate it too when I can't sleep.

Wow, some of the experts suggest yellow light, and to never have your electronics on or near your bed, because it can disturb melatonin production as well as produce headaches, read cellphone, laptops. Also if your brain is buzzing with things you have to do, hop out of bed, and make a list, then you have a physical reminder, and have given yourself an outlet for the tasks you can't really perform yet. The list thing really helps. Good luck. -SB
