Next time you knit something, read the instructions better. And if something looks weird it's probably because you're doing it wrong.

That was a waste of an evening and yarn. Not to mention very achy hands. *grumbles*

*scraps that Xmas present idea*Apparently I was doing it RIGHT and it's SUPPOSED to look weird. Ha! I totally rock at knitting ( Read more... )

It's always weird if no errata have been reported on a pattern yet. I get suspicious. Frogging is a pain in the patootie.

I'm making a kind of frilly scarf. It ends up being 1200 stitches so it takes over an hour to do each round. *pouts*

1200 in a round?! Geez. One of the dresses I'm working on has 400 in a round, and that takes an hour. (You're obviously much faster than me.)

Can you give us pictures when you're done?

What are you knitting? I just started a few weeks ago and I always feel anything I do knit looks really weird. (And I have to admit even some of the finished things still look weird and not like they are supposed to ;) ).

A frilly scarf. IT's very easy, it just takes a lot of time, especially now I'm up to 1200 stitches. I like my projects small and quick. lol

It's the first thing I've knitted in 6 years but it's like riding a bike. At least I haven't fallen off yet.
