Awwww, I love that dude. When he was here he performed in the theater where my dad works. When he sang Cheers Darlin' he made this whole performance where he drank chilean wine, and went "oh, this is good" *drinks more* and then started drinking a glass each time he said Cheers Darlin'. I had the opportunity of seeing him afterwards... and believe me, you slurping soup is nothing. If you see him again don't be afraid to say hi, seriously. He's pretty funny and super, super nice (also totally hippie; your unwashed hair and unflattering clothes would've probably given you points, lol).

Hey, at least you *recognized* Damien Rice! I would have just sat there oblivious to the fact that I was slurping soup unwashed, un-make-upped and unflatteringly clothed next to a celebrity! Would probably have spilled soup on him too, or stepped on his foot getting out of my seat...
