Thank you!

I think this will be the darkest of the timestamps. Even if they may not all be happyhappy this is without doubt Jensen's darkest moment of the ones we hadn't seen.

Well, I'm not gonna stop you... *g*

Thank you, honey. So... I've been wondering if I should maybe add it into the book? I've never been completely satisfied with how part 1 ended. I don't know. *ponders*

hm, tough call. I was pleased with the way it was as-is, but I liked this too. I don't know if it would add or detract in-context, read in chronological order with the fic as a whole.

that was helpful, haha. sorry!

Same here! I so don't have enough time to read it again right now but ... Pshhh. Who am I kidding? I'm gonna read it again. X)

Even knowing the ending of the original fic, this still makes me cry. It's just so bleak and hopeless right now - for Mac, Alan, and especially Jensen.

(Goodness, the music was perfect, no surprise there)

Speaking of music, do you know where I can find Gabriel Fauré: Requiem - Pie Jesu that you have inserted in this timestamp?

Just right click save on the link beneath the player. It's a permanent link. I'm thinking of uploading the whole Requiem on Sendspace though, it's one of my favourite classical music ever.

It is. And knowing what will happen it makes it even sadder. Because Jensen didn't save his dad, his dad never saved him. Mac didn't get to forgive her father and she didn't see Jensen again for over ten years. Jensen stayed in there much longer than he thought he would, and he didn't even have the music in his head that he had depended upon getting him through the whole thing. Minna disappeared, his parents never did visit him... Every hint of hope there is we know will be crushed.

Yeah, it totally made me cry, writing this. And I'm so happy you liked the music, it rather completes the whole thing, I think.
