Damn. I was making coffee and then got distracted writing so it got way too hot. So when I ran the coffeemaker under cold water (it's a Mukka, you're supposed to do it like that so you can clean it right away) I managed to burn my hand on the steam. I kept it under cold water for as long as I could (cold water is hell on my hands) but I'm still all

hehe, I'm also told that rice expands in the stomach, so if you eat until you are really full your in troble. Hope your hand will be ok.

LOL, yes. That was one thing I hadn't counted on. I kept thinking 'It's fish. It will settle soon' but it only got worse and that's when hubby pointed out to me the expansion of rice. Which I knew, I just hadn't considered it right then. My tummy was aching it was so full. But it was worth it.

The hand is better already, the skin is just tender when I touch it but otherwise I seem to have escaped relatively well.

Maybe when they complain that you're not wearing pink, you can...show them your hand? ;)

It looks better now. Just tender and, yes pink. Hmm... Maybe I can just do that. lol

It probably takes about 2 hours (and then there's driving back) so by the time we get home it's time for dinner etc. *sighs* But maybe when the kids have gone to bed I can get more done.

Also, shall we make a play date soon? :P I'm thinking, next Thursday since it's pay day (and Friday is a holiday). And I'm totally ready to do some shopping and then maybe some drinks? yes? :P

Oh damn, I would love to. Only thing I'm worried about is that it's the last day before Big Bang is due and I might be stuck in last minute panic writing. Meep! I'll be working as hard as I can to get it done as soon as possible but hubby won't be around much this week which means I can't get away much to write since it kinda leaves me with the kids. And kids and writing porn isn't a good combination. So really, I'm not sure whether I'll know for sure or not until Wednesday? But hell, I'd so be up for a beer or two. And shopping!

Btw, did you say you could buy those rubber bracelets at Asylum? Because mine is very close to breaking. *sobs* If you can I'm so letting you buy for me. I love mine!

do you think the shop will be open on Friday since it's 1. mai? maybe we could do it on Saturday? I definitely don't want to take you away from your Big Bang. We could celebrate you finishing it!! :D

I'm pretty sure they will be closed May 1st. Thing is that Saturday we might be having a birthday party. The girl turns 9 on May 4th and apparently the inlaws are busy the weekend after. But that would be during the day, not evening. Question is how long the shops stay open. *ponders*

I'll have to talk it over with hubby (the birthday plans) and see what time is best for everyone else in the family. Maybe we could have it on Sunday... Don't count me out yet!
