I was going to post about some trivial things but then I saw this:

New blog on Jim Beaver's MySpace has revealed the passing of Kim Manners, our favourite Supernatural director.

I really don't know what to say so I'll just leave it at that.

I knew he was really ill with lung cancer, had been in hospital since December, but it was still a shock. The whole set must be devastated.

They always spoke very highly of him, both as a c-worker and as a friend, and he was obviously their favourite director. I think they must be devastated.

Terrible, terrible loss. From what I gather he was a highly respected and much loved man, his amazing directing talents aside.
