Damn, I wish so too. I know it's nobody's fault, but I still feel disappointed that when the chips were down only one person was actually able to come. So we just ditched or possibly postponed the whole idea. Although I'd love to organize it for next year I'm kinda hesitant since chances are the same thing will happen again and that would really break my heart.

I think I'll have to do a locked picture post later with all the new shiny things. I took some pics of myself in the bathroom mirror and they seem to be alright, even if I usually hate picture of myself.

Thank you! Well it would have been kinda sad for them as well if all their effort was to be ruined by rain. It's a very nice and friendly saloon, I've been going there for years and even if there are usually 3-5 months between they always remember what I do and how old my kids are etc. I'm the bad one who can never remember the name of anyone there. lol

I REALLY wish I hadn't had the whole lay-off/only working part time thing going on because I really really really wanted to come to Iceland. It's still on the top of my "going to go there someday" list!

I'm sad that the whole thing fell through too. Would have been so lovely to come there. I've wanted to visit Iceland already for some time. Don't know what I'm going to be doing this time next year. Proabably to my ears in debt but since that's the situation this year too, it doesn't make a difference *g*
