Well, it looks like we'll be driving up north tomorrow, visiting my aunt and uncle at the farm where I spent most of my summers from the age of 8 to 21. They've pretty much stopped farming, seeing as my uncle is pushing 87 and my aunt has had her hips replaced like three times. So it's more relaxing, eating fatty old fashioned Icelandic food (

*smiles* I SO know how you feel, I mean, these days I am online, like, all the time (not always sitting infront of my computer, but I am always HERE) so I just - SO hope that you'll be fine.
Have you read any of the bigbangstories yet? Because you know, I always appreciate opinions by others and would just love to hear which one you enjoyed.

I'm rather ridiculously addicted to Livejournal. First thing I do in the morning, before even getting dressed, is check my flist and email. It's different though when you are on vacation, your mind gets used to a different routine, but more than 10 days without internet, well that's kinda pushing it.

I have read quite a few. Absolutely loved a number of them but must admit there were stories as well that I ended up just skimming to find out how they would end without enjoying them enough to really sink my teeth in. And there has been a lot of violent non-con abuse stories in this round that I'm just not that keen on reading. I can easily write that stuff but reading it is a whole different matter. It just makes me feel very uncomfortable.

I've only been reading J2 for now, been in a J2 kinda mood. To name a few favourites without really getting into why (because it's half past midnight and I should probably be going to bed, lol):
Half Truths and Whole Lies by rocketbalm I love the characters in this. Jensen especially is so well done

Oh thank you so m,uch for takning the time writing these recs down. I've been so put of the whole LJ and fandom loop the last two months or so. It wasn't by choice in the begining it just happends due to work and other RL issues then it just continued that way. And it's sad i miss LJ and you guys. I miss being addicted. :)

You know, lol, when I was sans internet a few weeks ago, I went to my mom's house and ended up using their comp. I saved fics and other goodies on a flash drive... but in the html form.

So, when I opened them up at home, they at least *looked* like I was online. *g*

Oddly comforting.
