As far as I am concerned they live happily ever after (together) in my little universe and Sandy and Daneel exist only as pretty sidebars. I KNOW they are not together in real life--but that doesn't stop me from thinking they make the prefect couple!

Felis, I was so freakin'...emo during the writer's strike because of this. I was playing Elton John's "Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" on repeat!! I have never been this way with a show or the actors. I've been in several fandoms, you know this, but these boys they just...own me. I am a 47 year old mother of two grown children (one of which is not that much younger than Jared. shudder) And they turn me into a 13 year old girl. just...*hands*

You and me both, girl. I mean, I loved to fantasize about James and David but man, we had to work so hard for that because they gave us next to nothing! And still reading/writing about how they handled their show being cancelled was heartbreaking.

These guys? It's just so obvious how much they care about each other, how close they are. And just the idea of them splitting up after the show ends and becoming just acquaintances, it makes me want to cry. I can't see them NOT being friends, NOT being invited to each others weddings (yes, I would love them to marry EACH OTHER but I'm being realistic here), NOT slipping away from wives and kids to go fishing Brokeback Mountain style, NOT calling each other all the time and frigging buying houses in the same neighnourhood. But then I think about the friendships you made in school and thought would last forever and instead you haven't talked to them in 15 years and what if THAT's what happens to THEM? God! *cries*

Just had to chime in here to your comment because I'm a 48-year old mother of two children. One in college the other starting high school. My niece is the same age as Jensen (which freaked me out when I first realized that because I first met her when she was 12 so I still think of her as a "little girl".)

I also have *never* been this way with a show or it's actors. I've followed shows and been fans of shows--sometimes a little obsessively. But absolutely *never* like this. These two guys just own me. I actually went to the LA Convention--which 2 years ago I would have laughed my butt off if someone had suggested that I spend that amount of money on a weekend trip just to see two actors in person. And then tell me I'd turn around and DO IT AGAIN 2 months later (I'm going to the Dallas convention).

Jensen is only 5 1/2 years younger than me so really, not such a stretch. My grandma always said it was better to get a younger man, they last longer. *g* Jared is on the other hand almost a decade younger than me but really, he's a big, grown up, LEGAL boy so I feel no shame at all for perving all over him. lol ( ... )

I agree totally with everything you've said. Including thinking about the future post-SPN. It's so perfect now that I try not to think past the next two years. (I'm assuming we'll get season 5.) I was in a seriously grumpy mood yesterday until these screen caps and then video link showed up. It cheered me up to the umpteenth degree. I do *NOT* want to think about what will do that for me post-SPN. It's like magic.

We must have been in the same headspace because I've been outright emo the last week or so and suddenly there are shiny things and Twizzler porn poking and pretty boys who so obviously love each other and I don't care how long we get, NOTHING will break those two apart!

Well, the link to the mp4 version should still be active and also you can find it on YouTube, like here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ9sfHlByPg

They are too cute for words those two.
