OK, I know I'm totally screwing with timelines and DA storylines and probably every canon thing out there. Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. And the title sucks but hubby is calling me to bed so tough luck. Maybe I'll change it later.

I have to admit I do feel intrigued by what my brain came up with and I find myself wanting to know what happened so maybe I will write more. *ponders*

(Raises a lot of questions for such a short piece, doesn't it? *grins*)
Amusing, too, how accepting both of them are; the weirdness of their lives makes it plausible that there'd be this double, that the double would have met the "original"...and the last line is very good.
I liked it!

You got Alecs voice down so perfect. And screw the time lines, good drabbles need not follow canon.
I hope that you're considering a sequel to this. I would love to see what this leads to. :)

Yay, I'm so glad Alec sounded alright. Just writing him made me miss him so very much. I need to watch a few episodes again soon. *squishes him*
You never know about a sequel. Stranger things have happened. lol

I just wish Max wasn't always such an utter cunt to Alec. Really, she is so focused on her own issues she just stomps on everyone who annoys her, but especially him. Especially noticeable in The Berriford Agenda where he's all vulnerable and she's all 'Whatever, I don't care.' Grrr. Not saying he was perfect, far from it, but she seemed to go out of her way to belittle him. It just annoys me, did even back in the days when I had no idea who Jensen was. I'm not sure how much of it was written in and how much of it was just Jessica Alba. Apparently things were less than warm on set between them and later she apologised. That's all I know really.
And now I've pissed off every Jessica Alba/Max fan out there. Erm... maybe you're one of them? *hides*
