The four day Gay Pride festival starts today. Well, actually it started last night with the annual drag queen/king contest. Don't know who won yet, it will probably be on the news tonight.

Well... you could always paint it on him when he is asleep and then bribe him with certain favours...

I should imagine that would work - he is a man after all... and eyeliner is yummy - no one can deny that!!!!

He looks great in eyeliner *points to icon* but if my sisters are coming with I doubt he'll do it for me. *pouts* *flashes puppy eyes at him*

Maybe if I get him drunk enough...

Last year we just bought tickets at the entrance. It opens at 11 and I guess we'll arrive around 1 AM. It would be so cool if we ran into each other. Maybe we can have buttons ( ... )

Damn. I would have loved to see that! Seriously. Someday I'm going to come vacation with you during this time. It sounds like a blast!

Definitely ask if you can watch with regards to your husbad and his potential makeout partners.

This is the best time to come visit. There's this whole Gay Pride thing around the second Saturday in August and then the next Saturday we have Culture Night in Reykjavik with lots of art and music and such which ends with a gigantic firework show by the harbour. I love it. People bring their kids and everyone is just strolling around. It used to be a real Night with events until the early morning but now it pretty much surrenders to the usual weekend drinking after the fireworks around midnight. Still, lots of fun.

I suspect hubby of rendering some naughty thoughts of his own since he just shaved his beard off for the first time this summer. *g*

Too bad my phone doesn't have a camera. I hate bringing a purse when I'm out on the town.

Then again hubby's phone has a camera...
