I'm so glad you liked the whole White confrontation. I was a bit worried that people would think it too easy of a solution, that maybe I should have rather let it evolve into a fight but as a parent I can very well understand him wanting revenge, although I don't suppose I would have chosen this exact kind (if I could cast spells or hypnotise. lol) So I didn't really want him to suffer more, just understand that he had every right to want revenge just that he was being selfish and making things worse the way he was doing it. Does that make sense? I'm not good at explaining things.
And yes, there is always the question of how to 'bring in the love'. Can't let it get too sappy but it still has to be clear that this isn't just a physical thing. So every fic you have to find a new way of making it work. I'm glad it worked. *beams*
