Why is it so damn hard? *groans* Anyway, I didn't really find anything so this will have to do. This is for spring_spangel. I'll link the chapters together once they're all up.

Spike in Connor's clothes, yep. Bet he'd look good in them though. *winks* I loved that in S7 we got to see him wearing different clothes than the usual. Plus, the short jacket showed off his bum. *g*

man, I really *loved* the exchange over the human blood. there was so much packed in just that little convo...the 'blood tasting', them giggling like squirrely naughty teenagers over having a forbidden treat, both admitting that they sometimes pretended it was from a struggling virgin *g* whole chapter was great, but especially that bit.

Fantastic opening volley. Spike's fear is palpable and Angel's concern is touching. I love the little moment with the blood tasting, when they let themselves go, just a little. Wonderful.

I'm always a bit worried that the jump from them annoying each other to hell to showing care will be too abrupt but I feel it worked here. After all, we know Angel does care, he's just very much Denial Man. Easier to play annoyed than admit he actually wants to shut Spike up by kissing him. *g*
