Not that I really have to tell you this but LJ-comments are being a bitch and have been for what... two weeks now? More? I've been going through recent entries, trying to pick up the ones that didn't pop up in my mailbox (about 99.9% of them) but some will probably slip me by, especially older ones

Yep, we are hanging the greenery today at both mine and my parents houses. Not that I'm real religious, but I love decorating my house for the season.

Is Advent the same in Iceland as it is in the states? For us it's supposed to be the beginning of the church year, but it mostly turns out to be the official start of the holiday season. I guess that's sort of blasphemy, but oh well. I do what I feel ;-)

I'm not real up on it outside of what my own family has always done.

I haven't been getting my notifications either, for a week now. Then, this morning there were 13 in my inbox when I logged on.

Hoepfully, LJ has finally gotten it's collective heads out asses and things will start working again.

I'm having the same problem. It just started for me two days ago, I know for some it's been happening since lj moved their servers last week. I thought I was in the clear when it didn't happen right away - but no such luck.

*your icon is making me want to celebrate the holidays in many, many naughty ways - I'd like someone to stuff something like that in my stocking!*
