In your place, I would jump at the chance to study editing and publishing, with the opportunity to go into it professionally. I've been an unpaid editor for more than twenty years, as I'm sure you've been. You already have a head start on the knack of it, so getting a formal sign-off that you're ready to do it professionally would be a big step. And it might be a whole lot more interesting, varied, and fun as an actual job than working at the library.

I think you should take the opportunity and go for it. You would enjoy editing for a publishing house, and it would be a really good way of breaking into the business. Not only that, but you'd be good at it, I'm sure.

I think this is a great idea. You obviously have the skills, and it could be fun. Plus? Avoiding RL for a while longer is a splendid notion.

I say continue working on your education. Especially if you think it will improve your chances at a job in publishing. You would be amazing at that kind of work. :)

I think it's an excellent plan no matter the reason, especially since it will increase your chances for a future job. It sounds really fitting to your interests too:)

I'm in such awe of your studies and I've been thouroughly enjoying your schoolexperience from afar. It's inspiring; with my job-issues I'm currently also contemplating my options for further education.
