For the first time, one of my letters was read on CBC. Nothing major -- just about three sentences (about Tom Lukiwski's homophobia) on the political program, The House.

I heard it - you were brill! You should keep writing in and contributing.

Since I was 15, I have been on a call-in show, won a contest, had two letters read on-air and they played a message I left on their voicemail. You would think they'd keep a list of nutters, and cut you off after a while, but apparently not!

By the way, I think I know why you always wind up listening to Go - it's good ol' radio inertia. If only we could have a rebroadcast of The Debaters on Saturday morning instead, and maybe one of those topical half-hour series like Working or White Coat/Black Art. CBC Radio is really good at treating its listeners like smart people when it tries.

True enough.

I have two theories about Bambury:
  • he's sleeping with the president of CBC; or
  • he's been planted there by anti-CBC people to discredit the network.
I mean -- they got rid of "And Sometimes Y," but his show gets to keep 1.5 hours. What gives?
