[Clears his throat.] I couldn't sleep. I didn't want to go to Jack's again so I went to her place instead. We lay in bed and she...read to me. [God he feels like an idiot.] And then she lay down with me. That's...it, really.

Sometimes, we just need a reminder that... that there's other people out there. That we're not alone. The human connection. Intimacy is one way of proving that, and possibly the strongest way. It could just be that you were both lonely, and needed someone to be there.
