I really liked getting to hear your sister's voice over the phone - even if it was a little awkward. She sounds adorkable and made of win. Really great to see you today too, and suckage that your comp's being a bastard.
Really looking at apartments?!?! GOOD FOR YOU. I hope you find something that suits you!
Heh, yeah, I kind of threw the phone at her, so... nut she is totally adorkable. As for my computer, man, it's starting to depress me. Which is sad, I know, but it happened during vacation! I'm going on about two weeks now!
Thanks, but to be honest, I probably can't quite afford it. Well, I can, but then I will have maybe $10 left over a month, tops. Depends on how much my bills would be. Still - I've got some ideas where I might like to go, so that's good.
TWO WEEKS. How have you managed to last so long? Especially when you work on a comp too. I would have broken down so many times and just surfed at my whim. I'm a bad employee that way. XD (Good thing school starts next week?!?!)
Well, to be honest, I couldn't afford it either. Living in our little town is surprisingly expensive. I think it's the culture around here; too high and pride to really accommodate a student's budget. But even if you're only getting an idea of where you'd like or what you'd like in your IndaPENdant LivuN', it's all good, yeah?
Uh. Well. That would be awful if you did something like that at work, unlike me, who never would. (But, really, on the slim chances my bosses found this blog post - I really don't do it often!) Mom is letting me borrow her old Mac, but... that means I have to surf the 'net while sitting next to her. Kind of uncomfortable, that.
I'm tempted to say it's not just small towns, it's Texas culture in general. That said, I might be able to afford a dorm now - I'll talk to you about that next time I see you - but I don't really want to move into one.
