Whoever Charger’s employer is might want to look into their hiring practices. If his job is truly to acclimate new arrivals, then I feel sorry for anyone else forced to deal with him.
[pause]Surprisingly, this journal seems to work as he claimed. So perhaps someone else would be willing to offer some information about this place, without his

So doing this again: Your name is Bastet, you're in a place call Edensphere, a place where amnesia is routine and happens to everyone. Yes it's a giant Tree and yes there are floating islands. There are five floors but only the first two are safe. I think that's the basics.

If amnesia is common, how can everyone be so helpful about this place?

Most of the time the amnesia only happens when people first arrive here. Occasionally some people lose random memories for no reason but usually we are left alone. But lately there's been some random memory wipes, just total factory resets of certain people here. Like my biffy Gai, he lost two years of his life here but he got it back a few days later. So my guess is that's what happened to you.
Oh right! I'm Genius, we're...ah...people who know each other.

So there's a chance this is only temporary.
[Which explains why most people are taking it was well as they are. What an odd place, that people can be so used to memory loss.]
People who know each other? That's rather vague.
[Yes, she is somewhat amused]

Consider this a vacation or something.

I can think of more relaxing ways to spend away from work. But I suppose I should thank you all the same.

I'm Kagerou. I'm sort of your student, but we're friends, too. So if you need anything, I'd be glad to join the ranks of overly helpful people.

[Having students...that certainly rings true]
And no, I haven't. Finding my home hadn't actually occurred to me yet.

I suppose you don't remember what reiatsu is, either?

I'm Cross, one of your somewhat students. You've been here longer than I have and have been...a good friend. Ask me anything you want to know, I'll answer it as best as I can.

Thank you, Cross.
[If she had to lose her memory anywhere, she supposed she could do worse than to be among so many people who seemed to want to look out for her. Of course, she'd have to judge their sincerity herself over time.]
What do I teach you?

I know that's horrible vague, and I'm sorry for that. [This is one of the hardest things to write.]
But, no matter what happens even if you never recover your memories of that - I will do whatever I can to help you.

[That's rather more optimistic than she feels, but she can't help but reassure a student of hers, even if she can't remember them.]
