Thankfully things have mostly returned to normal. I suppose I had never stopped to wonder why we all speak the same language here, but there seems to be something in aid us in understanding. It's... interesting. The multitude of backgrounds and languages, that is.

It is. Although I suspect we weren't all speaking our native languages; I know Lin and I are from the same place, but I couldn't really tell what she was saying.

Well, nothing everything can be prevented, so we prepare and respond as best we can.

I generally don't hire very new arrivals--I like someone to get used to this place before potentially putting someone's safety in their hands. But you're welcome to interview in a month or so.
