Do any of the medics--or does anyone else--know what to give a cat with an upset stomach? He's pretty miserable, and nothing I've got in the house has worked so far.

Is Mugen alright?

And.. I can't say that I know any remedies. Veda usually chews on the grass outside, but... Ah... I'm not sure if that's a dog thing, or just... Veda.

I can't tell if he's still drunk or already hungover, but he's definitely unhappy.

Veda chews on everything though. He even chews on Mugen's fur.

...He got into the alcohol?

It's hard to tell if he's doing it for a reason or not.

Well, I gave him some beer in a dish, then someone knocked at the door. By the time I got back, he'd finished what I gave him, then knocked over the can to get at the rest.

Let's just assume he enjoys it and leave it at that.

Do you know what made him sick?

Too much beer.

Bastet! Why did you give him beer?

Because he likes it. The amount I gave him in the dish has never made him sick before. It was what he got out of the can that must have done it.

Did he eat something poisonous?

[She draws an arrow up to her responses to Raise and Kazahana.]

I'd know what to do for a person, but not so much for a cat.

Ah. Well, I suppose lots of water would be the best cure. Give him ice cubes to lick if he won't drink from a bowl.

I'll try the ice cubes; he's been uncooperative so far. I appreciate the help.

He'll be fine as long as he doesn't try to drink more than I give him. Which, after this, I doubt he will--he's a smart boy.

You seem unconvinced. He gets beer once every month or so; it's not a part of his regular diet.
