*Handwriting is slightly unsteady; someone's pissed*
I would like to assure people that although food supplies are still low, they are not so low that you need to resort to hunting cats or other pets.
If you're so worried about food, go over to the farm and help get things up and running so production can get back to normal once again.

[What he arrived to was not altogether surprising, in terms of devastation. Light as a bird he landed next to the woman--naked? And she was clutching Mugen. That was a bit odd but not worth comment, under the circumstances. Half crouched he had his back half turned to her, not out of modesty but watchful wariness. She was furious, but he failed to sense a threat, there was someone huddled on a rise, surrounded by the devastation, obviously not harmed, but Crow dismissed them immediately as a bystander. He sensed nothing odd about them, which meant the real threat was either neutralized or he could not sense it, or it was hidden.]

A man stood, dirty and desperate-looking, clutching a hand to his mouth where Mugen had scratched him. He looked up at the arrival of what he thought was another cat, a darkly amused look twisting his face. "Come to join your friend in the stewpot?" he murmured. "Must be my lucky day."
She barely remembering transforming and attacking through her rage. Using shunko against a human was overkill, but her patience had been worn right the fuck through over the past week.
She turned to Crow, heedless of her nudity, although her voice was still strained.]
Crow.

[Everyone was strained to cracking these days, Bastet perhaps had a heavier burden than most, and the burden everyone bore at the moment was hardly small. Crow glanced at the woman, still a bit wary, instinct and habit had him on edge from her mood. A dangerous fighter who was as furious as Bastet at the moment was not someone to relax around, regardless of his trust in her, his instincts as a shinobi simply wouldn't allow not to be tense while she radiated cold fury.]
What happened?

That man [she motioned towards the man still huddled on the rise] decided to supplement his rations.
[Her fury began to rise again, and she forced it back down, scratching Mugen behind the ears. She couldn't afford to lose control again, no matter how tempting it was.]
Apparently giant squirrels were too obvious a choice.

Whatever is given, I'll sell. If not, I'll go hunt. Not for pets.
