People and supplies are being moved down as quickly as we can manage. However, there is only one elevator, so please be orderly and patient. Any other behavior puts others at risk ( Read more... )

All is going well in the Marketplace, ma'am. Securing of property and the transportation of provisions appears to be proceeding smoothly.

Good. I'll check back in with you all. Be sure to get some rest; there are enough people to relieve you.

Of course. Wouldn't want to keep things from proceeding smoothly.

It's as much for your own sake as that of the mission, Spike. I know you're likely to forget that kind of thing.

Spike is correct about the marketplace. Section one is going relatively smoothly, if a little behind schedule.

I will have that remedied shortly, however.

There are very few people who can apply sweet reason to a potentially volatile situation the way you do.

Thank you. :d Evacuating is no fast, easy thing, folks! hunny_sensor May 5 2009, 16:35:36 UTC
Thanks for bringing that up. I'm so tired of breaking up fights it's not even funny!

Doll's reported to me that Section 2 is running smoothly as well.

I've also had a message brought to me that the volunteers assigned to watch the elevator in the Wilderness are trying to keep it as clear as possible for people evacuating. Some folks have been trying to return to Edensphere by the elevator for some reason or other, and they've been informed to keep their cool unless push comes to shove.

Really, guys, if you're missing something, we'll go back and get it later. The ants won't eat your favorite jacket, I don't think, and you're not going to risk your life for it.

Anyone I catch coming back up who is not involved in the evacuation effort will be sent back down immediately. Conscious or not.

I'll ask Snap to have Kiba watch the elevator down there. He's loud and that sword of his is intimidating enough to keep most people back.

Hot Springs and Park Island are clear. Three people decided to try and barricade Park Island's bridges to see if they can wait it out instead of "waiting in that stupidly long line for the elevator". These barricades were easily dismantled to make a point, and these people in question are in line for the elevator now.

Proceeding to Racetrack Island. I've been informed by a passerby that some racers are trying to barricade their stables to keep their birds safe.

I see. Crises never fail to bring out the worst in some people.

During the last evacuation, the chocobos were also brought to the Wilderness, along with the other animals; I doubt any barricade most people can build would stop the ants if they decided they wanted in.

Thank you for all your work.

I would have to agree.

While my programming does prioritize the safety of others, humans are at the top of the list. As such, I will focus more on the citizens making it to the Wilderness safely before worrying about the chocobos and farm animals. The wildlife seems to be carrying on with business as usual... that's peculiar.

You're welcome, ma'am. I do what I can.

The animals don't seem to be worried? You're right, that is odd. Anyway, please do concentrate on getting people out first. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise.
