005// scenario

I see others have mentioned the pink...thing with tentacles. It let go pretty easily when I hit it, but I still wouldn't recommend getting near it. Seems to have a pretty good grip.

So the last couple days have been educational, to say the least. For example, I am apparently more frightening than a pink tentacle thing. But as Drake said, and I'm ( Read more... )

Wow. All this chatter about tentacle monster is making me really glad I'm lost below-deck.

Are you one of the ninjas I've been hearing about?

...I don't know, actually. All I know is that I'm a fighter of some kind. And I found that out by chance.

Yeah, it's probably for the best that you were below deck. I personally was around it longer than I would have liked.

I am so not looking forward to discovering stuff like that by chance. That'd be intensely creepy, I think.

And really, can any length of time be too short where tentacle monsters are involved?

I was attacked. I'd rather have discovered it than have been injured because I didn't know how to fight back.

...You would think not. You would really, really think not, but that doesn't seem to be true for everyone.

Having met both you and the pink...thing...I wasn't frightened of either, but the creature was definitely more off-putting.

Thank you. I swear, men must take lessons on how to inadvertently insult women.

Yes, definitely. It's not as if some of us can help how tall we are!

None of us can help that. How moronic.

And who wouldn't be mad about having to pry tentacles off some idiot who'd just walked right into them?

Charming and competent in the face of pink, squishy crisis? Bastet, my darling, run away with me!

Or, alternately, let me stand behind you if it ever comes back.

How could I say no, Argent? It'd be a shame if anything happened to a man like you.

Then my life is in your hands in case of all future tentacle attacks. Really, I wouldn't want it any other way.

I assure you, I'm the picture of grace and humility in accepting this honor, and am not at all delighted by having lured a man into my clutches.

Heh. I'm not sure you'd be interested in this one--I hit it once and it ran away.

I have a feeling it won't be long until something else comes along that you can go up against.

Spar, like fighting? Like practice, or something?

This may sound a bit weird, but would you possibly be interested in beating me up?

Yeah, just practice, to see what we were capable of.

We can spar. Beating people up is something I'd like to save for special occasions.

That totally sounds like something I need to do right now. Freak-out time in the wilderness has be curious what I'm capable of. Though I'd imagine I'm not quite ninja material.

Actually, in addition to sparring, I am in the neighborhood for finding somebody to beat me up. Weird request, I know. It's kind of an experiment. Or something.

I've got no problem sparring, but if you want anything beyond that...maybe talk to Trust. Or Toushi. They're more the brawler type.

Mind if I ask what that's all about?
