I'm flattered, truly, that you immediately want more. I haven't written a sequel to this bit, yet, but I am working on another Jooster fic.

*sniff* Aw. Corking. Very lovely picture that's painted here. There should be more Wistful!Bertie fics out there. Absolutely heartbreaking how Bertie settles for what they have in fear of losing his beloved valet. *applaude*

I was hoping that would come across. Of course, a lot of the pairings I support tend to have both parties being more content to settle for companionship/friendship rather than risk it for something more. Then, of course, the next step is to give them a push towards the something more. *grin*

It's unusual to have such an insightful Bertie in J/W fics, but I have to admit I like it. It will be veeery interesting to see where you're going with this. :)

It's something he's been meditating on for a long time. *grin*

Awww, so sweet and so sad! I really hope you manage to find a fluff-bunny to get them together! They deserve a happy ending. :)

One tiny tiny nitpick is that Bertie is of the "noblesse," not the "noblesse oblige." "Noblesse oblige" refers to the concept that the nobility (the "noblesse") are obligated to be honorable and generous to those less fortunate. Not a big deal at all, just thought I'd mention it.

Other than that teeny thing, though, a corking fic! Hope to see more, my dear! :)
