Today is Mother and Daddy's 43rd anniversary.

It rained this morning and this evening, but in between was sunny. We (Geo, NephewB, Mother, Daddy, MiL, and I) spent the day shopping at Timbuck II in Corolla. The trick to collecting the seashells you want is not finding the shells, it's catching the shells before they get washed back out to sea. And it's not uncommon for me to be so focused on finding a shell, that a wave takes me unawares and wipes me out. It's kind of hilarious.
