One Year Ago

I do believe it was exactly one year ago yesterday that izhilzha introduced me to this show she really liked called Supernatural. She was here for a visit, and I told her on Thursday that if my understanding of SPN was correct, then she would probably really like The Lost Boys. (I'll have to do a comparison post between the two.) We watched the movie ( Read more... )

Happy Anniversary!

My anniversay was this past Spring. I fell in love between Heart and Hollywood Babylon. During that hiatus, I watched the first season on DVD. P.A Dean sealed the deal, and I haven't been the same since. "Copy that!" I love that dude!

Happy Anniversary!

Thanks!

PA Dean ("Go for Ozzy") is one of the best things on TV ever! Of course, by that time, I was long gone for the show, and the Boys.

I'm so delighted I got to see the series unspoiled. The semi T-boning the Impala took me completely by surprise, and Geo surprised me even further by having already purchased S2.

We went through the first two seasons, plus everything of S3 that was available on iTunes up to that point (up through Fresh Blood) in about a month.

Have I mentioned that this show is addictive?

I love to read some recollections... My annyversary was this October - since 2005 (yeah, i'm that faithful) :)
The Pilot was... it was more like timb bomb to me - i watched and thought - humm... ok... and then i rewatched. And rewatched. And rewatched :) And then was Skin and Dean in the Water (yeah, i missed 103 in first viewing) and than Home and Faith. I was hooked and didn't even notice it :)

Asylum was my first time!! I thought it was so creepy - but not gory! I was peeking through my fingers! That had me hooked. Then I saw the boys and fixated on Dean. So now I had a show that was interesting and had some fine looking men on it -- SOLD!

Yay for your SPN Anniversary!! *confetti*

I still need to see Lost Boys. *makes another note*

the remake was little more than a mass hallucination that didn't happen).

I thought the remake was a decent flick, it just had nothing to do with the book and none of the first movie's finesse. But if what you wanted was something fast-paced with high production values and lots of screaming, it wasn't so bad. The first movie's still way better, in terms of execution and storytelling and actually, you know, resembling the book somewhat. Mileage varies, of course.
