Not much preamble to this one. I'll skip the dramatis personae this time since we've met all the major players. For an ep that didn't have a whole lot going on, I've got a lot of notes here. And I intend to flesh out Jensen's scenes more later because a couple of them were true gems.

Re: the sexy . . . it depends on what you consider sexy--the artist!sexy of cameras or the protector!sexy of guns. I'm flexible.
I personally find that I'm quite enchanted any time Jensen plays a character who can get his techno-mechanical geek on. IT computer guy in Devour, guns in SPN, cameras in SL . . . it's all good. Truly, though? For the enjoyment of watching him, Max taking pictures is choice. And Max on the bike. But then, Izhi can tell you about how I go just a little gooey at the thought of a good looking guy on a motorcycle.
I'm sorry. Did I go off on a tangent there?

Bwah! Yeah, me too, though I think I have a bigger weakness for the protector!sexy.
Oh, motorcycles are indeed of the hotness. I miss ours, which is rusting in the backyard. *pouts* One of the many things I love about living where I do is the fact that motorcycles of all kinds are very popular in this area (lots of great scenic routes in the area, and lots of traffic during the week, making lane-splitting a very big perk of owning a bike). Lots and lots of good looking fellas on bikes for me to grin at on my way to and from work.

Jensen in a green sweater? Sweet!

I often wish others could see these, because I know I'm not doing justice to a lot of Jensen's stuff. And I'd love to be able to do series of screen caps. But caps are problematic on several levels, not the least of which is that watching Jensen in motion is much of the enchantment.
It'd be nice if there were a way to get FOX to put these on iTunes or something.

I can just picture the look on Max's face when Whit wants to trade the BWM for Maggie. He probably wanted to punch the guy.
IF the show had continued you know Max would go talk to Dary Anne

We'll have to see . . .

Also, I was the only that asked you about the birth order - I wasn't sure who was older Max or Emily. So, based on this episode, it sounds like it goes: Jake, Max, Emily, then Daisy.
Regarding Jake's secret, wonder if even Jensen knows what it is?
I also wonder if there's a good FOX contact to request putting these eps on iTunes or on their website?
Thanks for posting!

Yes, I'm now certain that we're right about the order of the kids: Jake, Max, Emily, Daisy.
Re: Max knowing Jake's secret . . . in the pilot ep, Max does say that Jake could be "a real son of a bitch," but that could just be because Jake moved in on Maggie (and moved in with Maggie, and got engaged to Maggie) when Max and Maggie hit a rough patch.
Not sure exactly how one would go about contacting FOX about these eps . . . they obviously didn't like the series enough to pick it up. I don't know if Jensen fans' making inquiries about the show would peak their interest or not.

I don't think there'd be enough requests to peak FOX's interest, it was just wishful thinking.

Ah. Okay. That would be a really obscure con question for him:
Jensen, a while back you did seven episode of a show called Still Life. Now, your dead brother (insert perplexed look from Jared here as he mutters, "Dead brother?") had a secret that never got revealed in those seven episodes you shot. Do you remember--or did you even know--what that secret was?
