I see that it's been nearly two years since I posted. Yikes! Just wondering if anyone is still here.

Life has been keeping me busy, and I haven't had much time for fandom since Li'l J became mobile.

Hello! Good to see you again. How’s Sweet Baby James?

Hi there!

James is growing (as kiddos do). He'll be four in January. We have some relatively unique challenges, though. He was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) a couple years ago. CAS is a neurological speech disorder that makes it difficult or impossible for children to accurately produce sounds, syllables, and words. It affects the motor planning involved speech. He's saying more words than he did this time last year (he didn't have any words last year), but we've got a long way to go.

Thank you again for the CDs. The Peter, Paul, and Mommy disc lives in my car for traveling, and we enjoyed (when he used CDs at bedtime) the bedtime CD as well.

My biggest news is that I've had a career change. I'm now an artisan.

Well, it starts with the election last year, and the major party candidates we ended up with, and I got to thinking about how (iirc) you had said that in Australia, you have lots of viable candidates, and the voters rank them in order of preference. (After that, my memory of the process gets really fuzzy).

And that led me to wonder how you were doing. (I often wonder how internet friends I've lost touch with are doing.)

Very nice items in your store! Does your reference to "career change" mean that you're doing this full-time and have given up your computer work? Congratulation on your success!
