I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your kitty. And the loss of your dad - I still feel the loss of my mom, more than 2 years later. It does bring a melancholy to the season. But yes, there is still joy to be found, if we try. :)

Thank you. Losing Bunqui has hit me harder than I anticipated, and, well, there's no not missing Daddy. (I've still got a message on the answering machine from him from a few Christmases back that I listen to from time to time.)

Here's to a joyous 2013 for us all.

Oh, my dear, I'm so sorry to hear about Bunqui. She was such a loveable, loving cat--I so enjoyed her friendly nature the times I've visited you.

I'm sad, too.

Thank you, my friend.

I still, upon occasion, see her out of the corner of my eye, but it's a pair of shoes under the table or a sweater on the bed.

I've even dreamed about her, and in the dream, I know I'm dreaming.

Yes, indeedy that's where the ID came from. :-)

We had pretty clear sailing to Ohio. The snow didn't hit us until the day after Christmas. If there hadn't been a further threat of snow, we might have stayed an extra day, but we didn't want to get stuck.
