I actually kind of liked the color of the jacket, because it was different. (I've read that Jensen chose the color, so I'm curious as to what his thought process was regarding the color/design . . . and how much input Danneel had indirectly. :-) )
I have greatly mixed feelings about making Bobby the Big Bad for next season. Haven't we killed Dean enough? Of course, I'm also coming to the conclusion that we saw the last of "our" Bobby in "Death's Door." He can't be the same Bobby, can he, having chosen to stay in the veil? I mean, why can't our guys ever catch a freakin' break, right?
Musey has been playing with a little bit of a scene wherein Bobby inadvertently injures Dean quite badly and begs Sam to salt and burn the flask. Whether or not Musey will actually get around to writing it remains to be seen.
If you go back to some of the early convention vids (first American con was Chicago, November 2007, and how sad is it that I know that), the guys both dressed like "guys." No real "fashion sense" whatsoever. Which is part of what I love about Jensen--he's not a Beau Brummell fashion plate. He always looks good, but it seems there was talk within the fandom that their wardrobes/fashion sense went up a notch or two when they each got married. I think Jared has as much as admitted that Gen lays his clothes out for him when he's looking more fashionable
( ... )
Smart!Dean! Smart!Dean with the figuring out that Alpha!Vamp was in over his head, and with figuring out to pick the lock with the IV needle and with the smuggling in an extra syringe and all the other smart!Dean stuff he had going on.
