SPN - 7.20 (aka Felicia Day!) - ETA

Apr 27, 2012 22:08

I have my very own day! In honor of this event, I had ice cream while watching Show, and I will probably treat myself to a festive adult beverage (or a beer) when Geo gets home and I watch with him.

Warning: Random flaily squee.

SPN does Mission Impossible )

The little sister line was hilarious! (And made me think of Jo.)

Getting ready to watch it now with the husband. "Was your movie as good as my TV show?" I asked when he walked in the door.

And thank you for the Felicia Day wishes. Heh.

I'm afraid I don't watch Leverage.

Walking On Sunshine! One of my favorite happy tunes from the '80s!

I'ma have to unwind before I watch it again with George and get wound back up again!

Awwww it reminded me so much of Leverage in a lot of parts. (Yay, shotout to Chris Kane and Aldis!)

I loved this ep. Super loved it. Was sooo happy that Charlie didn't die. I was like - she's too awesome please don't die!

Yep, I've been told a few times that this was a shout-out to Leverage. The thing is? I don't watch Leverage. I've never seen Leverage. Hard as that is to believe, and as much as I might like it if I did catch an episode. I've heard of it, and I know Jensen's friend Christian Kane and former "Jake Tully" Aldis Hodges are in it, but it's not on my radar as classic TV.

The granddaddy of TV caper shows, though? Mission: Impossible? Yes. Even though I've only seen one or two eps, and don't remember it at all except for the very cool theme song from my childhood, that's what comes to mind with sneak-and-creep caper shows. Heck, if I ever did watch Leverage, I'd probably think of it as a modern-day M:I. *shrug*

It also made me want to track down the movie Sneakers and watch it again ( ... )

Don't worry - I get it. There's quite a few folks on my flist that don't watch Leverage as I discovered. Hehe. My hubby who caught a little of show last night as I was watching it (he doesn't really watch Supernatural - a flaw I know hahaha- but he saw Felicia Day and watched a bit of it) and he was like, "they're going with an MI feel." :-)

I'd really only seen FD in Doc Horrible (I think). Hopefully we'll see her again next season and that she doesn't die. There is a next season right? I still really haven't heard an announcement though. :(
